Learn to create, not copy.

For the past four years, we’ve worked with kids, teens and adults as we support them in their creative journeys.

Our mission is simple: help adults overcome their art scars so they can create without fear; and build young artists up so they are ready to create in their unique, beautiful voices without comparison and negative self-talk.

We’re located in a small, rural town — but we offer big, beautiful opportunities. And, we want to spread it wider, so we’re now offering online, asynchronous options.

We are a process art studio. Sometimes, that can mean different things to different people. Here’s how we define it:

We want you to feel at peace as you create. We want you to be able to take a project and make it your own. You should never feel pressure to compare or to copy the teacher. We teach skills and techniques, art & design elements and principles, and we do all this with loads of choice and outcome potentials.

We’re not a place with Art After Dark style teaching, or cookie cutter crafts. Instead, we’ll help build you up so you’re ready to tackle your own art in your own way, while also arming you with the creative courage to take risks and experiment as you grow.
